Friendship Grove
Friendship Grove contains Feelings Friends, a game about matching feeling words with drawn faces. Your child hears a prompt and taps a face, with a written word beneath each choice. The six choices in the feeling bank are happy, sad, angry, scared, surprised and sleepy. Older-band story rounds ask about a pretend character. You can listen together and talk about what the picture or story suggests.
Every game is free for every family until 20 November 2026. No card, no payment.
Where to start
For ages 2–4 and 4–6, begin with Feelings Friends at level 1: a named feeling and three face choices. Younger players keep named-feeling rounds throughout. For ages 4–6, level 2 introduces short stories in two rounds. Both bands later have four face choices, reaching five at level 5.
Every game starts at Seed, level 1, and climbs to Shine. Good play climbs a level; a hard day holds it, and a level earned is never taken away.

What this game practises
- Recognise the game's six feelings in drawn faces
- Match a spoken feeling word with a pictured expression
- Choose a feeling for a pretend character in story rounds
Try it at home
Draw a pretend child called Sara beside a fallen tower of blocks. Add two different faces elsewhere on the page and talk about how Sara might feel. Your child can point, draw or listen. Accept their suggestion and ask what someone could say to the pretend child.
Not in this game: This game does not practise calming down or talking through your child's own feelings.
