Privacy Policy
WasiLearn is built for young children, so we hold ourselves to a simple rule: collect the minimum, never show your child an advert, and sell data to no one.
What we collect
- Your account: your name, email address and password (stored hashed).
- If you choose “Continue with Google”: Google tells us your Google account ID, name and email address, and we store only those. We never receive your Google password and keep no Google access tokens. Nothing on our pages loads from Google until you press that button.
- Child profiles: a first name or nickname and an age band (2–4 or 4–6). We never ask for a child's surname, birth date, photo or contact details.
- Play progress: which games were played, stars earned, levels reached and first-try learning evidence — the data that powers the parent dashboard.
- Sign-in records: while you are signed in, your session keeps your IP address and browser type, so we can keep you signed in and protect your account. Sessions are removed after they expire. Sign-in attempts are counted by email and IP address for one minute to stop password guessing.
- Billing: handled entirely by Paddle, our merchant of record. We never see or store card numbers.
What we never do
- No advertising in the games or on this site — not to children, not to parents.
- No third-party analytics, tracking pixels or font services on our pages. The only outside script is Paddle's checkout, and it loads only on the Billing page.
- No selling, renting or sharing of personal data.
- No contact with children. Accounts belong to parents; children only play.
Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and keep the site secure (session and CSRF cookies). There are no marketing or tracking cookies.
Who we share data with
Only the services required to run WasiLearn: Hostinger (it hosts the site and its database and sends our verification and account emails) and Paddle (payments and billing emails). Each receives only what it needs to do its job, and Paddle never receives your child's name or progress. If you sign in with Google, Google knows that you signed in to WasiLearn; we send Google nothing else.
Your choices
You can delete a child's profile and progress from the child picker in your dashboard, and save a copy of a child's progress from the grown-ups' corner in the games (👪, then “Back up progress”). You can delete your whole account yourself under Settings → Profile; that also cancels any subscription with Paddle. Or email support@wasilearn.com and we will do it for you. Deletion is permanent.
Our other sites
WasiLearn also publishes code.wasilearn.com, free programming tutorials for teenagers. That site is funded by advertising and has its own, different privacy policy. Nothing about it applies here — these games carry no advertising and never will.
