Do: Glossary game. Read a word's meaning without saying the word. Your child guesses which word it is.

Do: Let the card guide us. With an adult beside your child, read each step and prepare the chosen snack, or act it out using drawings. Check the ingredients and amounts before starting. Ask the reader whether any detail is missing, then improve one part together. Tasting is optional.

Do: Family favourites graph. Ask everyone their favourite fruit. Draw one fruit picture per person in columns. Which is most popular? How many more like mango than banana?

Do: The letter's helper. Draw a pretend letter with no address. Add a postal worker carrying it to its destination. Describe how this helper moves messages between people. Ask whether the remembered journey involved a letter; if not, keep this as a separate example rather than changing the memory.

Do: Return with help. When your child wants to return, use the marker to find the next part. Finish together, reduce the job or leave it for another day. Discuss whether the marker helped. Keep the aim on finding a next step, not working for longer.

Moving & making
Do: Change one clue. Repeat the scene, changing one gesture to suggest another possible feeling or event. Pause briefly, then relax. Your partner describes what changed. Swap performer and observer, or direct each other's seated hand movements. No audience or correct guess is required.
