Do: Picture and word match. Read each word and put it under its picture.
You need: Simple drawings (moon, tree, train, light, coat) and their word cards

Do: Story in three boxes. Draw the beginning, middle and end of a made-up story. Then write one sentence under each picture.
You need: Paper folded into three, crayons
Talk: Who is in your story? Where are they?

Do: Number line jumps. Stand on 8. Jump forward 5: where do you land? Jump back 3 from 15. Write the sum afterwards: 8 + 5 = 13.

Science & our world
Do: Our handwashing picture steps. Draw your family's handwashing steps together and put the pictures in order. Use them during ordinary supervised handwashing. Explain that this is a reminder for a routine, not a way to see germs.

Do: Secret helper. Each day your child secretly does one kind thing for someone in the family. At dinner, everyone guesses who helped them.

Moving & making
Do: Fold, press, open. Fold paper in half, then open it. Put a few small paint marks on one side, fold and press gently, then open again to inspect the matching marks. Without paint, draw a simple shape on each side, using the fold to help compare their positions.
You need: Paper and optional washable paint or crayons
