Our week: KG 1, week 24
Dates: to · Try one activity on a day that suits you. Repeat or pause any part.
Reading & talking

You need: A bag of objects
Talk: What question could you ask your sister?
We noticed:
Game (optional): Listen & Remember
Writing & pencil control
Do: Try the sign in its place. Place the sign where an adult agrees it will help. Ask someone at home what they think it means. Read it together if needed. Let your child add a word or clearer picture if useful, keeping the original writing visible.
You need: The sign and a safe low display space
Talk: Where will the reader need this message?
We noticed:
Game (optional): Trace It
Numbers & shapes
Do: Treasure map. Hide the treat and draw a simple map of the room with arrows. Your child follows the arrows to find it.

Science & our world
Do: Who helps the journey? Add a driver beside the bus drawing and a pilot beside the aeroplane drawing. Explain their jobs without assuming their gender. Your child chooses one journey and tells who helps it happen. Pretend on paper; there is no need to board or touch transport.
You need: The drawings
Talk: Who flies the aeroplane?
We noticed:
Game (optional): Helper Heroes
Thinking & feelings
Do: Tell what helped. Draw or describe the step your child chose. Ask whether watching, company or trying helped. They may choose the same step another day, a different step or a pause. Explain that feeling unsure does not mean they did anything wrong.
You need: Paper and crayons
Talk: Would you like me beside you?
We noticed:
Game (optional): Feelings Friends
Moving & making
Do: A different view. Turn the cup so a different side faces your child. Ask what changed in the view. Make a second small drawing or point out the difference together. Keep both versions; each can record something noticed from its own position.
You need: The same cup and drawing materials
Talk: What looks different after we turn the cup?
We noticed:
Game (optional): Shapes & Colors
A possible rhythm: one or two strands a day, on the days that suit you. Swap days freely. Games are optional and never replace the home activity.
