Do: Three-line paper. Sort letters into tall ones, small ones and ones with tails. Write a row of each, checking where they touch the lines.

Numbers to 100: Tens and Ones

Do: Straw bundles. Count out sticks and band every ten together. Show 35: three bundles and five loose. Now show 53. What changed?

Do: Life-size me. Your child lies down and you draw around them. They label the body parts: head, neck, shoulder, elbow, wrist, knee, ankle.

You need: A big sheet of paper (tape newspapers together), a marker

Do: The power of yet. Write three things your child can't do yet. Stick it up. Tick each one off when they can do it.
