Goal: Name common animals, copy their sounds and movements, and say where some of them live.
For parents: Animals are the most motivating topic there is for toddlers. Use it for talking: every new animal is a new word.

You need: Nothing, or animal toys or picturesMake an animal sound and let your child guess the animal. Then let them make the sound and you guess.

Animal walks
You need: Some spaceHop like a frog, waddle like a duck, stomp like an elephant, slither like a snake. Call out an animal and both do its walk.

Animal picture book
You need: A picture book, or old magazines, glue and paperName every animal on the page. Or cut animals out of a magazine and make a book together: one animal per page, with its name written underneath.

- Where does a fish live? A bird?
