Numbers to Ten

🏠 Do together

1. One space for each

   You need: Paper with ten large spaces and ten large paper squares prepared by an adult

   Choose a number from one to five at first. Help your child place one square in each space until they reach that number. Count by touching each square once. Later use numbers up to ten. Put the squares away when finished.

2. Number walk

   You need: A walk outside

   Look for numbers on doors, buses, number plates and price tags. Read each one together. Who can find a 7?

3. Count and jump

   You need: Nothing

   Hold up fingers or a number card. Your child jumps, claps or hops that many times while you count together.
