Dot to Dot

Numbered points are scattered around a picture outline. Your child starts at one and taps the next number in order. The game draws the connecting lines as they go, so the shape appears a piece at a time. A spoken prompt names the picture they are making.

How the levels grow

Ages 2–4 use pictures with three or four dots at levels 1–2. Levels 3–5 widen that range to three through five dots. Ages 4–6 begin with three or four dots, then use three to five at level 2, four to five at level 3, five to six at level 4 and five to eight at level 5. Each session has four rounds. The action remains tapping numbered points in order as the picture's dot count changes.

Ages 2–4 play on the Pre-Nursery path and ages 4–6 on the Kindergarten path. Good play climbs a level; a hard day holds it, and a level earned is never taken away.

What you might notice

Does your child look for the next number before tapping?
Do they count aloud as the lines appear?

Try it at home

Draw three large numbered dots on paper in a triangle arrangement. Point to one, two and three together. Your child can move a finger between them or direct yours. Add a line yourself if they prefer to watch the shape appear.

Not in this game: The game does not practise drawing a continuous freehand line between the dots.
