1. Animal homes sort

   You need: Animal toys or pictures, three mats (blue for water, green for land, a nest drawn for birds)

   Your child puts each animal on its home. A fish on the water, a cow on the land, a bird in the nest.

2. Bird watch

   You need: A window or a park bench, bread crumbs or grain

   Put out a little grain and watch quietly. Count the birds. Where do they go afterwards?

3. Who eats what?

   You need: Pictures of animals and foods (grass, bone, fish, seeds)

   Match each animal to its food. A cow eats grass, a cat likes fish, a hen pecks seeds.
