Letter Pop
Your child hears a letter prompt and sees a row of letter buttons. They tap the one that matches. Depending on the band and level, the prompt asks for a capital, a small letter or the letter that starts a spoken word. Each game contains five rounds.
Every game is free for every family until 20 November 2026. No card, no payment.
What it practises
- Recognise named capital letters
- Find small letters in older-band rounds
- Match a word's beginning to a letter
How the levels grow
- Seed Level 1
- Sprout Level 2
- Bloom Level 3
- Flourish Level 4
- Shine Level 5
For ages 2–4, the capital-letter pool grows from A–F at level 1 to A–T at level 5. Levels 1–3 show three choices; levels 4–5 show four. Ages 4–6 use the whole alphabet for name rounds. Their choices grow from three to six across the five levels. Small-letter rounds join at level 2, and beginning-word clues join at level 3. Those word-clue rounds use a separate letter bank that leaves out X.
Ages 2–4 play on the Pre-Nursery path and ages 4–6 on the Kindergarten path. Good play climbs a level; a hard day holds it, and a level earned is never taken away.
What you might notice
- Does your child look across the row before choosing?
- Do small letters prompt a closer look?
Try it at home
Write two large capitals on scrap paper. Say one letter and invite your child to point. Swap their places and try again if welcome. For an older child, add the matching small letters and discuss which pair belongs together.
Not in this game: The game does not practise forming letters with a pencil.
