Kindness and Teamwork

Goal: Work with others to finish a task, share fairly, and fix a disagreement with words.

For parents: Children learn teamwork by doing real jobs together. Give a shared task and step back — let them negotiate before you help.

Do together

  1. Team tower

    You need: Blocks or paper cups

    Two people build one tower, taking turns. Talk about who places what. Could you build it higher together than alone?

  2. Problem-solving steps

    You need: A picture card with three steps: stop, talk, choose

    When a disagreement happens, use the card: stop, say how you feel, choose a fair solution together.

  3. Secret helper

    You need: Nothing

    Each day your child secretly does one kind thing for someone in the family. At dinner, everyone guesses who helped them.

Talk about it

  • How can we make this fair for both of you?
  • What could you say instead of shouting?
  • How did it feel to help someone?
